Vitoria: Violent altercation between couple due to alleged infidelity
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in Vitoria after allegedly assaulting and scratching his partner during an argument over her alleged infidelity, according to the Local Police.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in a street in the Coronación neighborhood. A neighbor reported a loud argument between a couple, and two police patrols approached the scene.
The officers confirmed that the woman had suffered several blows and scratches on various parts of her body.
After interviewing both individuals, the police concluded that the argument started due to her alleged infidelity, and the physical aggression ensued when the woman called for help. The man was detained as the alleged perpetrator of a domestic violence-related physical assault. EFE
