Man Detained for Smashing Front Windshield of Partner’s Car with Hammer in Elche
In a shocking incident, a 32-year-old man has been arrested by the Elche Local Police for brutally destroying the front windshield of his partner’s car. The suspect, who initially denied any involvement, claimed that their only relationship was professional.
The incident took place in the Algorós area, where a patrol unit on surveillance duty responded to a distress call. Upon arrival, the officers witnessed the severely damaged vehicle and found a man inside. The individual admitted to meeting his partner outside their residence, but without uttering a word or knowing the reason, he unleashed a series of violent kicks and used a hammer to shatter the windshield.
Despite the suspect’s denial of any wrongdoing, a thorough external examination of the car revealed shoe prints on the dented doors that «undoubtedly matched» the suspect’s footwear. Based on this evidence, the man was immediately taken into custody and transported to the local police station.
