According to a statement from the High Command in the Balearic Islands, the gang consisted of two groups, one responsible for smuggling and distributing the drugs by sea, and the other dedicated to the sale of cocaine.
During the operation, the agents carried out four home searches, two in Palma and two in Calvià, resulting in the arrest of six individuals allegedly connected to each criminal organization.
Moreover, the police seized two and a half kilos of cocaine, ten kilos of cutting agents, 30,000 euros in cash, as well as equipment necessary for adulterating and compressing the narcotics.
The authorities determined that the main distribution point for the narcotics was located in Palmanova. From there, several members of the organization distributed the drugs through telecocaine services and direct sales from a residence.
The National Police has been warning about the rise of telecocaine services in Mallorca, referring to the delivery of cocaine to homes, a criminal modality that has become firmly established and multiplied on the island.
